为了激发学生学习英语的兴趣，提高学生运用英语的能力营造深厚的英语学习氛围，本学期学校将举行三、四、五年级英语竞赛活动。
三、参赛方法：
以全员参与为宗旨，先由各科任老师在各教学班动员报名，进行初赛，每班评选出6名选手参加年级组的决赛。（请英语老师于5月25日前把参赛学生名单发到廖丽勇邮箱）
四、参赛内容：
单词比赛，以课本B部分单词为主，由教师命题比赛。
命题可以考虑采取选择填空，词图连线，圈出所学单词，将单词补充完整，根据中文写单词，根据图片写单词，根据句子填写单词等多种形式命题。不能单一化。
六、决赛地点：
三年级电教二室教室，四年级电教一室；
七、命题人员安排：

I am a third year master major in automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, P. R. China. With tremendous interest in Industrial Engineering, I am writing to apply for acceptance into your Ph.D. graduate program.
Education background
In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. I like painting , listening to music, playing computer games and reading books. My favourite food is chicken. It`s tasty and yummy. I often do my homee from Class1 Grade 5 of TongPu No.2 Primary School. There are 4 people in my family. My father is tall. My mother is pretty.My sister has a long hair. And I`m a good student. Hoe is near the school, I often get up early. Because I must puter games and reading books. I`d like to eat apples. They are sputer and P.E. on Tuesdays. My math teacher is Miss Huang. 为了迎接校第十五届大学生英语演讲比赛，深化大学英语教学改革，提高大学生英语口语水平，我院决定举行大学生英语演讲比赛。
二、活动宗旨：
〈1〉提高同学学习英语的积极性，特别是提高对英语口语训练的积极性。
〈2〉丰富学生的课余生活。
〈3〉为学生提供一个学习和交流英语学习的平台，共同进步。
〈4〉加深对英语口语的重要性的认识。
〈5〉通过举办活动，选拔两人到校第十五届英语演讲比赛参加竞赛。
邀请XX教授为本次比赛评委。
【1】参赛对象：参赛选手必须为我院35岁以下的中国籍在校本科生、研究生（不包括在职研究生），曾获得往届“‘外研社杯’全国英语演讲大赛”、“‘外研社杯’全国英语辩论赛”出国及港澳交流奖项的选手不包括在内。
【2】举止大方，表现自然，与观众有目光交流。有适当的肢体语言，有才艺展示。
